High Current, Low Voltage Solution For Microprocessor Applications from 48V Input
A novel approach for providing microprocessor power directly from 48V is proposed. This solution enables high voltage, low current to be distributed throughout a system, minimizing distribution losses, while providing low voltage, high current direct from the 48V input in the most efficient manner possible.
This solution is also extremely small, minimizing the required footprint at the microprocessor core, and extremely fast, eliminating the need for capacitors at the point of load.
